I've decided to keep a blog regarding my vertical sleeve gastrectomy progress.  I received the news on March 8th that I was approved for the surgery.  Initially, I was ecstatic.  It has been such a long road to this phone call.  The  insurance hurdles were making me insane.   For some reason, the excitement has worn off a lot.  I think it will come back the closer I am to surgery which is 4/23/13.  I hope this will be the first day of the rest of my life!
